Activate & move machines

Each licence key is for 1 machine. Activation takes seconds, and you can move it to another PC anytime.

Activate your licence

Open Malvicsearch and go to Help → Enter licence key…
Paste your key (format MVS-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, emailed to you at purchase) and click Activate.
Done! The app is unlocked for good on this machine. You only need the internet this once.

No key yet? Buy one on the pricing page — your key is emailed to you right after payment.

Because each key is locked to one machine, release it on the old machine before activating on the new one:

On the old PC: open Malvicsearch → Help → Enter licence key… → click Deactivate (move to another PC).
On the new PC: install Malvicsearch and activate with the same key.

Old machine broken and you can’t open it to deactivate? Email your licence key to support@malvicsearch.com and we’ll release it for you.

“This key is already activated on another machine” — the key is in use on another PC. Deactivate it there first, or contact support.
“Couldn’t reach the licence server” — check your internet and try again. Activation needs a connection (just once).
“That licence key is not valid” — double-check the key, or paste it directly from the email to avoid typos.
